Well the results are in and here’s what people said about what they use to took food/boil water on the trail:
- Nobody was using the old school solid fuel like esbit
to boil water or self heating chemicals either for that matter.
- 8% of people use good ol’ fashioned wood. Perhaps in something like this.
- 25% use the pump it up white gas stove
.
- 33% use canister stoves.
- But surprising me was the fact that 50% of people polled use the super lightweight alcohol stoves. If you want to see a DIY on how to make your own, take a look at this one.
